The city will host the international conference on ‘Novel agricultural and horticultural strategies for sustainable development’ from October 27 to 29.
Organised by the OMICS Group International, the third edition of the meet would discuss latest developments in agriculture and horticulture. All the stakeholders, including farmers, scientists, non-governmental organisations and government officials would take part in the conference.
It would deliberate on agriculture, risk assessment and management, contingency planning, agricultural land and water use management, impact of GM crops and seed technologies, organisers said here in a statement on Monday.
