Spot rubber prices were neutral on Wednesday. RSS-4 was quoted steady at ₹124 a kg, consecutively for the tenth day, by traders and the Rubber Board. The grade closed unchanged at ₹121 as reported by the dealers. The volumes were dull. RSS-4 weakened at its March futures to ₹124.80 (125.43), April to ₹128.25 (128.53) and May to ₹130.01 (131.07) on the NMCE. RSS-3 (spot) firmed up to ₹109.05 (107.35) at Bangkok. Its February futures improved to ₹105.49 (105.12) on the TOCOM. Spot rubber rates (₹/kg): RSS-4: 124 (124); RSS-5: 120.50 (120.50); ISNR 20: 110 (110) and Latex (60% drc): 87 (87).
