The International Crops Research Institute for the Semi-Arid Tropics (ICRISAT) will organise a one-day ‘agri-business fair’ for agri-business innovators and entrepreneurs on the institute campus at Patancheru near here on January 17.
The fair, which will be conducted by the Agri-Business Incubation (ABI) Programme of ICRISAT, will help start-ups explore opportunities in the agri-business sector.
“It will also act as a platform for participants to present their agro-technology or business ideas for incubation support. Some of the ideas might get incubation support from the ABI programme,” Kiran Sharma, Chief Executive Officer of ICRISAT’s Agribusiness and Innovation Platform (AIP), said.
