Cheaper and steady feed ingredient prices and higher coconut oil prices helped the Kerala-based KSE Ltd to register a 28 per cent growth in gross revenue at ₹993.83 crore in the first nine months of the current fiscal.
The company engaged in the production of animal feeds, oil cake processing and dairy products also posted a four times increase in the net profit in Q3 of the current fiscal at ₹21.16 crore as against ₹5.46 crore in the corresponding period of the previous quarter. In the first nine months, the PBT and PAT improved over ten times to ₹74.29 crore and ₹47.97 crore respectively.
The EPS reported per equity share of ₹10 each is ₹149.92 for the first three quarters of year 2017-18, against the previous nine months figure of ₹12.85 per share. The sale of feed has gone up by nearly 14 per cent to 3.94 lakh tonnes. The processing of coconut cake also improved by nearly 8 per cent to 73,307 tonnes (67,924 tonnes).
