Karnataka-based MK Agrotech Private Limited is setting up a 750 tonne a day capacity sunflower oil production facility in Kakinada in Andhra Pradesh. The company is looking at an investment of ₹350-400 crore in the project.
The company, which sells Sunpure brand of sunflower oil, is in advanced stage of setting up and commissioning a 750-tonne-a-day facility in Bengaluru with an investment of ₹350 crore.
“It will be operational in the next few weeks. We are setting it up to take care of our expansion in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana,” Mallikarjun Peri, National Sales Head of MK Agrotech, has said.
The company has a capacity of 18,000 tonnes of oil a month. Each tonne gives revenue of ₹90,000.
