Sluggish trend continued in mustard oil and seeds amid report of favourable crop condition with recent rains in mustard producing States profusely benefiting the crop. In Indore mandis, mustard oil today was quoted at ₹871 (down ₹8 from last week).
Similarly, mustard oil prices in Neemuch and Morena mandis declined to ₹865 (down ₹5) and ₹875 (down ₹10) respectively. In Rajasthan mandis also, mustard oil traded low on slack buying and weak trading sentiment with its prices both in Kota and Ganga Nagar today being quoted at ₹880 each (down ₹20).
Similarly, in Jaipur and Gujarat, mustard oil declined to ₹895 (down ₹20) and ₹870 respectively. Mustard seeds and raida ruled stable at ₹3,900 and ₹4,200 a quintal on subdued demand.
Plant deliveries for Jaipur line today were quoted at ₹5,165-70 (4,875-80 last week). Arrival of mustard seeds across the country today was recorded at 1 lakh bags with 50,000 bags being offloaded in Rajasthan.
