Pepper cracks on selling pressure bl-premium-article-image

Heavy selling pressure from those imported Vietnam/Sri Lankan pepper at ₹390/kg dragged down spot prices by ₹600 a quintal to ₹40,200 (ungarbled) and ₹42,200 (garbled). On the terminal market, 31 tonnes were traded. High Range pepper went for ₹410 a kg, while Pulpally/Bathery pepper was sold at ₹400. Export prices were at $6,675 a tonne c&f for Europe and $6,925 for the US.
