The daily reference price for RSS 4 was declared at ₹135.05 (137.40) a kg by the Rubber Board. Spot rubber rates were not available following the dealers’ strike to protest against the current uncertainty in rubber trading. March futures weakened to ₹122.50 (123.72) and April to ₹124.90 (125.22) while the May futures improved to ₹126.74 (126.45) on the National Multi Commodity Exchange. RSS 3 (spot) declined to ₹112.54 (114.48) at Bangkok. March futures surrendered to ¥ 212.4 (₹109.89) a kg on the Tokyo Commodity Exchange.
