Spices Board has become the first Union Government office in South India to go paperless with the implementation of e-office at its headquarters here.
J. Satyanarayana, Secretary to the Government of India, Ministry of Information Technology, inaugurated the ‘E-Office’ today at a function presided over by A. Jayathilak, Chairman, Spices Board.
He complimented the entire staff of the Board for completing planning, gap-analysis, data-base creation and implementation in just one month.
He assured that Rs 15 crore would be sanctioned for a spices farmer-centric portal to interlink farmers with processors, exporters and regulators.
