Students are gearing up to host the first Agricultural Graduate Student Conference on May 2 and 3 at the Tamil Nadu Agricultural University here. The theme of the conference is ‘Food Safety and Food Security’. Over 500 students – agricultural researchers from various varsities are expected to participate in this two-day event and 416 research papers are to be debated, states a TNAU release. K. Ramasamy, Vice-Chancellor, TNAU, will inaugurate the conference in the presence of the Deputy Director General (Education) of ICAR Aravind Kumar.
