The Group II examinations were completed peacefully on Sunday amidst tight security in Andhra Pradesh, registering 68.87 per cent of attendance.
The pro-Telangana supporters had earlier demanded the postponement of Group II examination scheduled to be held on October 15-16.
The attendance of candidates in the Telangana region, which is under general strike in support of a separate State of Telangana , is almost on par with the Andhra and Rayalaseema regions.
While 67.57 of the candidates applied appeared for the examination in the Telangana, the attendance was at 69.87 per cent and 71.29 per cent in Andhra and Rayalaseema respectively, according to Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission.
Nalgonda district, which is in the heart of pro-Telangana agitation, had registered highest attendance at 75.93 pc.
Over 4.5 lakh aspirants had applied for the examination which was notified in 2008.

With the restoration of bus services by the State Road Transport Corporation, the bus stations remained busy with the travellers. Even the city bus services were also operated almost normally.
The second day of ‘rail-roko' agitation, however, partially disrupted some train services in the Telangana region partially.
The police foiled many attempts of pro-Telangana activists to hold demonstration on the tracks and railway stations in Nalgonda, Mahabubnagar, Niamabad and Warangal districts.
Auto strike
A section of the auto unions operating in Telangana has called for an auto bandh for 24 hours from the midnight of Sunday.
