BBS Group of Institutions conducted placement meets over four days recently. In the first two days, pharmacy students from North India and from different institutions of Knowledge Park Greater Noida took part.

While more than 200 pharmacy students appeared, 182 got selected. Alkem selected 15 out of 35 students, Emcure selected 36 of 69, Cipla 25 (66), Lupin 25 (115), Glaxo-Smithkline 48 (88), Zandu nine (37), Biological – E eight (16), Orchid 16 (48) and the result of Unichem Laboratories Ltd is awaited.

The highest package offered by pharmacy companies was Rs 3.5 lakh a year. From BBSIPAS Greater Noida, 90 per cent students got selected.

The Director BBS IMS, Dr S.K. Singh, urged the students who failed to get placed to acquire the skills required by the corporate world.
