Audio equipment maker Bose today launched two speaker systems priced up to Rs 1.8 lakh in the Indian market.
The two new systems — ‘Lifestyle 135’ and ‘CineMate 1 SR’ — are priced at Rs 1,79,882 and Rs 1,12,388 respectively with features, including a media console for up to six HD sources, an AM/FM tuner and a dock for iPod or iPhone.
“The products will be available in the Bose stores in the next seven days,” the Bose India Director, Mr Ratish Pandey, told presspersons at the launch of the systems.
He, however, declined to comment on queries related to the company’s financials, sales and volume expectations.
The new speaker systems are 6 cm high, 93.4 cm wide and 12.44 cm deep.
“Most conventional soundbars are bulky and hard to place...the new Lifestyle 135 and CineMate 1 SR systems deliver a powerful audio experience that defies their size and elegant design,” Mr Pandey said.
Bose India currently has 31 stores across the country including in Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chandigarh, Jaipur and Ghaziabad.
Bose Corporation is engaged in audio technology and its Indian arm Bose Corporation India Private Ltd was established in 1995.
