Andhra Pradesh will have an All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) and Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) soon.
This was announced by Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley in his Union Budget Proposals for 2014-15 on Thursday.
The residuary state of Andhra Pradesh after the creation of new Telangana State do not have AIIMS or IIT at present. While there is no AIIMS in Telangana State, the State Capital Hyderabad already has an IIT
