CBI court summons Jagan in illegal assets case

A special court for the Central Bureau of Investigation has summoned Kadapa M.P Mr Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy to appear before it on May 28 in the illegal assets case.

Mr Reddy, son of former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Mr Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, was the accused number one in the first chargesheet filed by the CBI on March 31.

The court had also issued summons to others named in the chargesheet including Mr Vijay Sai Reddy, financial advisor to Mr Jagan, Mr K. Nityananda Reddy, Managing Director of Aurobindo Pharma, and Mr Srinivasa Reddy, Director of Hetero group of companies.
