The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Wednesday filed First Information Report (FIR) in the case relating to investigation of investments made by corporate entities into business ventures of Mr Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, MP and President of YSR Congress Party.
The FIR was filed in the CBI special court here along with another FIR in Emaar Properties Case.
The investigation is being conducted on the directions of the Andhra Pradesh High Court after the premier investigating agency had submitted a preliminary investigation report to the court earlier.
The High Court's directive to CBI came after a petition filed by Mr P. Shankar Rao, Minister for Textiles, Government of Andhra Pradesh and others invoking the provisions of the Prevention of Corruption Act and Money Laundering Act.
