The Central Bureau of Investigation has filed a supplementary chargesheet in the illegal assets case of Kadapa MP, Mr Y. S. Jaganmohan Reddy on Tuesday. It was submitted in the special court for CBI at Nampally here as an addition to the first chargesheet filed earlier on the alleged involvement of Aurobindo Pharma Ltd and Hetero Drugs in the case. An amount of Rs 35,000 crore was invested in Mr Reddy’s firm as ‘disguised bribery’, the chargesheet claimed. It also contained statements of some more witnesses in support of its charges. The CBI has filed three main chargesheets in the case and arrested Mr Reddy, who is also President of the Y S R Congress Party.
