Young Indians (Yi), the youth wing of Confederation of Indian Industry, held an exhibition-cum-hands on training session for school and college students here at the Oberon Mall.
The programme, Students@ BusYiness, designed to develop entrepreneurial skills in students and expose them to various aspects of running a business, saw students from various schools and colleges across the city putting up their stalls at all the four floors of Oberon Mall. The merchandise included savouries, handmade craft items, greeting cards, bangles and flower vases.
The teams were evaluated on the basis of innovativeness of business idea, the quality, sustainability, branding and environment friendliness. The enthusiasm and innovativeness of students in coming up with new ideas and marketing them effectively was a great sight, Mr Biju Philipose, Chair, Yi Kochi chapter said.
Body Art estudio was the associative sponsor of the programme. The winning team would be felicitated on the Yi Kochi chapter Annual Day.
