Minister for Information and Broadcasting Prakash Javadekar has said that before the finalisation of the draft of Cinematograph Act, discussions will be held with all the stakeholders.
He had visited the Film and Television Institute of India at Pune on Sunday.
He tweeted: “Interacted with students and faculty of FTII, Pune. Govt will ensure complete modernisation and upgradation of FTII as planned and provide budgetary support.”
He also tweeted that the government will bring statue to make FTII, Pune and SRFTII, Kolkata as centres of national excellence.
“Before the finalisation of draft of Cinematographer Act, we will hold discussions with all stakeholders,” he added.
