Indian Oil on Tuesday revised the price of petrol upwards by 1 paisa per litre in 2 of the 5 markets where a daily fuel price revision is being implemented. According to an official statement, the price of petrol has been hiked in Puducherry and Udaipur.
The price of diesel on the other hand has been lowered by 1 paisa per litre in Chandigarh and Puducherry. The price of fuels was kept unchanged otherwise in the 5 markets of Jamshedpur, Udaipur, Chandigath, Puducherry and Visakhapatnam, where a daily price revision is being implemented.
Effectively, the retail price of petrol stood at Rs 67.55 a litre in Chandigarh, Rs 69.33 a litre in Jamshedpur, Rs 66.03 a litre in Puducherry, Rs 70.58 a litre in Udaipur and Rs 72.68 a litre in Visakhapatnam. The retail price of diesel stood at Rs 57.73 a litre in Chandigarh, Rs 60.25 a litre in Jamshedpur, Rs 58.67 a litre in Puducherry, Rs 61.22 a litre in Udaipur and Rs 62.80 a litre in Visakhapatnam
