Online payment service provider E-Billing Solutions (EBS) today said it will work as the first channel partner for global online payment provider PayPal in the country.
“Through this strategic partnership, over 5,000 EBS online merchants can instantly add PayPal as a payment option to their EBS merchant account and sell to PayPal’s 113 million active accounts in 190 markets,” the company said in a release here.
This association with PayPal will help small exporters to start accepting overseas online payments from day one compared to the 30-day period offered by other payment systems and up to 90 days as per traditional export models, it added.
On the partnership, EBS India executive director R Prabhuram said: “This will help our merchants from selling to global customers from day one with a simple sign-in.”
PayPal India & Southeast Asia country manager Mayur Patel said the partnership with EBS would help exporters from the country to sell to global customers.
