The State Eligibility Test for the post of college teachers will be held on August 14, according to the Bharathiar University Vice-Chancellor, Mr C. Swaminathan.
Aspiring candidates for the test, to be held in 50 centres in 10 places in Tamil Nadu, would have to be Post-Graduates with 55 per cent marks, he told presspersons here yesterday.
The examination offers a choice of 27 subjects. The applications, which would be available from May 14, can be downloaded from the Web site www.b-u.ac.in and would be accepted till July 14, he said.
