Export-Import Bank of India (Exim Bank) has received Myanmar’s nod for opening a representative office in Yangon. The licence was presented to David Rasquinha, Executive Director, Exim Bank, by U Thein Zaw, Deputy Director General, Financial Institutions Supervision Department, Central Bank of Myanmar. Bilateral trade between India and Myanmar had touched $1.9 billion in 2012-13 from a level of $1 billion in 2007-08.
