The most talked about CAG reports on coal block allocation, Delhi International Airport and ultra mega power projects were not tabled in Parliament on Thursday after both the Houses were adjourned for the day.
Parliament was adjourned to condole the death of Rajya Sabha member Vilasrao Deshmukh who passed away in Chennai on Tuesday. This made the Finance Ministry to defer the tabling of three reports.
According to sources, a new date is yet to be finalised.
All the Ministries have kept themselves armed with rebuttals to be given after the final CAG reports are being tabled.
The sources said the Coal Ministry has spoken to Parliament Secretariat and the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting to hold a media briefing after the reports are out.
Generally, Ministers do not hold press conferences when Parliament session is under way.
CAG had also scheduled a media interaction on Thursday, which was deferred.
