Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta (IIM-C), has concluded the placement of its fifth batch of post graduate diploma in management for executives (PGPEX).
Thirty-seven out of the total batch of 44 students have been placed. While three of them were on sabbatical, four of them did not take placement facility, according to a press statement issued by IIM-C.
The average salary for the batch was close to Rs 20 lakh while the highest salary was Rs 28 lakh. The batch received diverse job options from sectors like consulting, operations, IT-consulting, telecom, banking, healthcare and product management.
Companies like Bain Consulting, McKinsey IT, Keane Consulting, Microsoft, Google, Cognizant Business Consulting, Infosys and Amazon among others took part in the placement process.
