Mr N. Srinivasan, Managing Director of India Cements Ltd and Chief of Board of Control for Cricket in India, has appeared before the Central Bureau of Investigation for the second time here on Saturday.
Mr Srinivasan, who was quizzed in connection with the illegal assets case of Kadapa MP, Mr Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy, on Monday, came to CBI’s temporary office at Dilkusha Guest House here this morning.
Though he was asked to appear before again on June 19, Mr Srinivasan sought time till today citing important work, it was learnt.
He was being quizzed on the alleged investments made in companies promoted by Mr Reddy including Bharathi Cements in return for ‘favours’ in the allotment of water and mining leases, according to sources.
