Nearly two dozen domestic companies have invested $450 million in Qatar in the last seven years, creating 2,000 jobs in the Arab kingdom.
“A total of 21 Indian companies have invested in Qatar between January 2010 to May 2016. These companies invested nearly $450 million creating 2,000 jobs. Of the total investments, $225 million were invested in Doha alone,” Qatar Financial Centre (QFC) chief strategy and business development officer Kamal Nagi told PTI.
India currently ranks fourth in terms of FDI into the Arab kingdom.
