A major concern among the member countries was about people to people movement to facilitate trade and investment.
Minister for Commerce and Industry Anand Sharma agreed with the need for smooth movement of people within the countries of the region.
“As far as India is concerned we are entering into arrangements with various governments, with some countries we have arrangement of visa on arrival. We are going to expand to other countries including Mauritius,” he said.
