The seventh-edition of the Indo-US Resurgence Summit is slated for December 2nd at Hotel Hyatt Regency in New Delhi.
Union Minister for Communications and Information Technology and Law and Justice Minister, Kapil Sibal, is to inaugurate this edition of the event, organised by the Indo-American Chamber of Commerce (IACC).
The theme this year is ‘Á Search for Innovative Strategies’, Lalit Bhasin, Regional President, IACC, said.
He told Business Line : “The focus would be on services sector this year, unlike the earlier editions, where the emphasis was more on manufacturing industries and other bilateral agreements.’’
Ín the light of the current Indo-US economic relations, there is a need to discover the emerging opportunities to boost bilateral trade and investment, he said.
The focus sectors would include aviation and aerospace, security and services, trade, media and entertainment. The idea is to enhance the partnership to the next level of business and strengthen the ties for areas of collaboration in future.
About 60 to 70 delegates from the two countries along with 10 officials from the US Embassy will be taking part in this event, he said.
