The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) will soon file a chargesheet on the role of cements firms in the illegal assets case of Kadapa MP and YSR Congress Party chief Jaganmohan Reddy.
The chargesheet would cover Penna Cement, Dalmia Cements India Cements and Bharathi Cements, the CBI said in a status report submitted to the special court here.
The investigating agency has been probing into various aspects including the grant of water and mining leases to the cement-makers in return for investments made into business entities promoted by Reddy including Bharathi Cements.
CBI had filed four chargesheets in the case so far naming many corporates and also arrested Reddy in May 2012.
