The special court for Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has reserved the judgment on the bail pleas of ex-Karnataka Minister, Mr Gali Janardhana Reddy, and Managing Director of Obulapuram Mining Company (OMC), Mr Srinivasa Reddy, to Friday. The arguments in the bail petitions and the CBI petition seeking nine-day custody of both the accused in the illegal mining case were completed on Thursday. A request from the counsel for Mr Janardhana Reddy for ‘some more' time to file a counter to CBI's plea for custody of the accused was turned down by the court. Mr Janardhana Reddy and Mr Srinivasa Reddy were arrested by CBI on September 5.
