Knitwear exporters have expressed disappointment with the RBI's mid-quarter policy review announcement made this morning.
The exporters have for some time now been demanding a cut in the interest rate to help them withstand the pricing pressures and sustain in the global market.
“This has not happened; neither has the RBI addressed our request for a separate chapter for exports,” said Dr A. Sakthivel, President, Tirupur Exporters' Association.
