Boeing and Dynamatic Technologies Limited have teamed up in a supplier contract for the CH-47 Chinook helicopter. Dynamatic will manufacture the pylon and cargo ramp assemblies for Boeing’s model CH-47F Chinook.

Dynamatic Technologies, a $275 million company, designs and builds products for the automotive and aerospace sector, as well as hydraulic and security applications at its manufacturing facilities in Europe and India. Its corporate office is in Bangalore.

Boeing India President Pratyush Kumar said the contract underlined the company's commitment to partnering with India’s aerospace industry. “We will implement advanced manufacturing processes, backed with industry best practices,” Kumar added.

Dynamatic’s relationship with Boeing began in March 2010, with a contract to supply the mission-and-power equipment cabinets for India’s P-8I maritime reconnaissance aircraft.

Udayant Malhoutra, CEO and managing director, Dynamatic Technologies Limited said the new order gave the firm an opportunity to be involved in Boeing’s global supply chain at a whole new level.

In a statement, Dennis Swanson, Vice President, International Business Development, Boeing Defense, Space and Security in India added, “This is a great example of an Indian company competitively bidding for a significant work package, and also expanding its capabilities by partnering with Boeing to become part of the global supply chain”.

Boeing has developed important relationships with suppliers in India and is actively pursuing technical and business partnerships with Indian companies and institutions.
