The Nagpur division of the Central Railway has recorded Rs 676.08 crore revenue during the first quarter this year, showing a rise of 11 per cent as compared to the same corresponding period.
The revenue from Freight in the division was to the tune of Rs 568.96 crores, a rise of nine per cent, as againt Rs 521.85 crore last year.
On the passenger front the collection was Rs 92.74 crore, an increase by 20.07 per cent as against Rs 76.20 crore last year, a release from Nagpur division of Central Railway said. Similarly Rs 4.71 crore was earned from parcel, the release added.
