Air operations at the IGI airport here were affected due to dense fog on Saturday morning leading to delay in the schedule of several flights.
A cargo flight was diverted while the schedule of several others was affected, an airport official said.
Fog started to descend on the airport on Friday night and thickened around 11 p.m. forcing the airport authorities to implement low visibility procedures at around 11.20 p.m. Flight operations were disrupted due to fog on Friday also.
