Gurgaon is set to get a world class super luxury bus service which will connect the city to Chandigarh.
The service of the Haryana Roadways was today launched by the Haryana Chief Minister Mr Bhupinder Singh Hooda from Haryana Bhawan in New Delhi.
This is the first batch of Super Luxury buses of Haryana Roadways. Initially nine buses, each costing approximately Rs 85 lakh, will ply from Gurgaon and Chandigarh Depots. The remaining 16 buses are likely to be introduced by the middle of May, 2012.
The bus service will start from Gurgaon bus stand at 12.30 a.m. daily and would depart last from Gurgaon at 11.00 p.m.
The seats in these super luxury Volvo buses can be booked online. The one side fair from Gurgaon is Rs 595 while the passengers boarding from Delhi will have to pay only Rs 510.
The route of these buses will be via Indira Gandhi International Airport, Delhi, Karnal and Chandigarh.
