The partial suspension of train services in the Nilgiri Mountain Railway (NMR) between Mettupalayam and Coonoor has been extended up to December 4 because of continued heavy rains and landslide.
However, the services would be resumed if the weather conditions improve, according to a notification from the Salem Division of Southern Railway.
Originally, the NMR services were partially cancelled between these two stations till today (Tuesday).
