The Railways will run special trains between Tirunelveli and Dadar to clear the extra rush of passengers.
The special trains are:
Train No 06746 Tirunelveli – Dadar Special will leave Tirunelveli at 07.10 a.hr on October 17; October 24 and October 31 (Wednesdays) and arrive at Dadar at 4.25 p.m. on Thursdays.
In the return direction, Train No. 06745 Dadar – Tirunelveli Special will leave Dadar at 8.40 p.m. on October 19; October 26 and November 2 (Fridays) and arrive Tirunelveli at 09.45 hrs on Sundays.
The composition of the trains will be 1 AC 2-tier, 6 Sleeper Class, 6 General Second Class and 2 Luggage-cum-brake van coaches.
The trains will stop at Kovilpatti, Virudunagar, Madurai, Dindigul, Karur, Erode, Tirupur, Coimbatore, Palakkad, Shoranur, Kozhikkode, Kannur, Mangalore Junction, Udupi, Honnavar, Karwar, Madgaon, Thivim, Kankavali, Ratnagiri, Chiplun, Roha, Panvel and Thane.
Advance reservation for the above trains has commenced today, says a Southern Railway press release.
