A special train between Kacheguda and Mangalore Central will be introduced from August 6.
A press release from the Palakkad division of Southern Railways said here train no. 07606 Kacheguda-Mangalore special will leave Kacheguda at 6 am on August 6, 13, 20 and 27 (Tuesdays), and will reach Mangalore Central at 11.20 am the next day (Wednesdays).
In the return direction, the train no. 07605 Mangalore Central-Kacheguda special will leave at 8 pm on August 7, 14, 21 and 28 (Wednesdays) and will reach Kacheguda at 3.40 am on Fridays.
These special trains will have one AC 2-tier, two AC 3-tier, seven sleeper class, six general second class and two luggage-cum-brake van coaches. The trains will stop at Jadcheria, Mahaboobnagar, Gadwal, Karnool City, Dhone, Gooty, Yerraguntala, Guddapah, Rajampet, Renigunta, Katpadi, Jolarpettai, Salem, Erode, Tiruppur, Coimbatore Junction, Palakkad, Shoranur, Tirur, Kozhikode, Vadakara, Thalassery, Kannur, Payyanur, Kanhangad and Kasaragod, the release added.
