The South Western Railway (SWR) will run weekly special trains between Mysore and Vasco-Da-Gama stations (06201 and 06202) for the extra rush during summer.
In a release, the railway said four trips will be in run in each direction. Train No 06201 Mysore-Vasco-Da-Gama weekly summer special will depart from Mysore on Mondays at 3.30 pm from Monday, and arrive at Vasco-Da-Gama at 6 am the next day. The last weekly summer special from Mysore will run on June 6.
Mysore-Vasco-Da-Gama-Mysore train will touch Krishnarajanagar, Holenarasipur, Hassan, Arsikere, Birur, Davangere, Ranibennur, Haveri, Hubli, Dharwar, Alnavar, Londa junction, Castle Rock, Kulem, Sanvordem, Madgaon Junction and reach Vasco-Da-Gama. In the return journey, train number 06202 will leave Vasco-Da-Gama at 8.45 pm on Tuesday and arrive at Mysore at 11-35 am. The last summer special train from Vasco-Da-Gama is on June 7.
