SpiceJet to promote Mysore

Connects four metros, 11 cities

SpiceJet, the low-fare airline, has reopened bookings for Mysore on popular demand. The airline will now connect Mysore to 11 other cities across India, including all four metros.

Mysore, the third largest city in the State, has great historical importance as it was the capital of the princely State of Mysore. It is renowned for its magnificent palaces.

SpiceJet customers travelling from Kochi, Hyderabad, Mangalore, Belgaum, Chennai, Pune, Mumbai, Kolkata and Delhi can now travel to Mysore via Bangalore from August 21.

The airline is offering promotional fares for all its flights in and out of Mysore. These fares will be applicable for travel between August 21 and October 30. The airline has also offered promotional one way fares starting from Rs 2,499.

The resumption of air services are to facilitate visitors to Mysore round the year, especially during the 10-day-long Dasara festival celebrations.

Kaneswaran Avili, Chief Commercial Officer, SpiceJet, said, “We are pleased to reopen bookings for our Mysore operations, local travel agents and government officials, who have said they will work with us to ensure flight performance improves.”

“This service starts at an opportune time with festivities round the corner and I hope this will help our customers to make the most from this occasion,” he added.
