East Coast Railway (ECoR) will run as many as 59 special trains, most of them between July 2 and 4, to meet the Rathyatra festival rush at Puri, according to an ECoR release.
These trains, to be run from various parts of West Bengal, Andhra Pradesh and Orissa, will be in addition to existing regular trains already being run between Puri and the rest of the country.
The special trains to Puri will be from Visakhapatnam, Palasa, Keonjhar, Paradip, Bhadrak, Baripada, Brahmapur, Sambalpur, Paralakhemundi and Kharagpur.
Also, six trains will be rescheduled and one train will be extended to Puri from its destination station.
