The Airports Economic Regulatory Authority (AERA) in an order dated October 14, 2014 has extended the date for charging of tariff for Delhi International Airport Pvt Ltd (as per its order dated April 20, 2012) till the earlier of January 31, 2015 or the determination of tariff for the second five-year control period (which started on April 1, 2014).
The revenue collected by Delhi International Airport Pvt Ltd (DIAL) during such period would be adjusted for the aggregate revenue requirement for the second control period.
AERA had earlier permitted extension of charging of tariffs fixed for DIAL till October 31, 2014, pending tariff determination, said an exchange filing from GMR Infrastructure.
DIAL is a joint venture between GMR group, Airports Authority of India, Fraport and Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad.
