Ground handlers, Air India SATS Airport Services, organised a voluntary support programme for the CSI extended home’s Pratyasha Project for children.
Employees of Air India SATS, Thiruvananthapuram, volunteered to engage in community service that reflected the company’s vision to be socially responsible, a spokesman said here.
Close to 30 employees attended the programme. The day started with recreational activities for children followed by a series of entertainment programmes. Employees donated educational support tools and other basic necessities to them.
The Pratyasha Project provides educational and remedial support to 65 students. It also provides accommodation and other basic necessities to enable them harness their potential through educational advancement, said Willy Ko, CEO of Air India SATS.
