Air India will introduce a direct daily service from Delhi to Vijayawada and back from January 15, 2015.
This will be the second flight on the route.
The new service AI459 will leave Delhi at 0620 hrs and reach Vijayawada at 0825 hrs. In the return direction, AI460 will leave Vijayawada at 0900 hrs and reach Delhi at 1105 hrs.
Currently, the carrier operates a daily flight from Delhi via Hyderabad to Vijayawada. With the introduction of the new service, it will have two daily flights between Delhi and Vijayawada.
The new flight will also provide connection to international flights departing from Delhi to Bangkok, Birmingham, Frankfurt, Kathmandu, London, Melbourne, Sydney, Paris, Rome and Milan.
