Tony Fernandes, CEO, AirAsia, will make his first visit to Chennai today, which is going to be the headquarters for the airline’s low-cost service in India.
“Off to Chennai for first time,’’ he tweeted this morning.
Fernandes will be a guest of honour at a function in an engineering college.
AirAsia in a joint venture with the Tata group plans to launch its service this year. The airline had already started recruiting flight attendants.
