Bangalore International Airport Ltd (BIAL) has handled over 14.38 million passengers in calendar year 2014.
A resurgent domestic aviation market saw new airlines and routes, resulting in a 14 per cent increase in air traffic movements with an average of 359 per day.
Domestic air traffic movements increased by 15.4 per cent to 110,773, while international movements rose to 20,330.
The airport handled 12.5 per cent more passengers compared to last year, making it the third busiest airport in the country.
The domestic passenger traffic recorded a growth of 13.5 per cent to 11.55 million. International passenger traffic grew 9 per cent.
