Bombardier Transportation joined The Consulate General of Canada to celebrate Canada’s 145th National Day.
The Acting High Commissioner of Canada to India, Mr Jim Nickel, and the Head of Legal, Contracts and Governmental Affairs, Bombardier Transportation India, Dr Nicolas Banerjea-Brodeur, attended the festivities with other senior officials and industrialists from both India and Canada.
“A theme of this year’s Canada Day celebration in Mumbai is the historically important role railways played in the formation of Canada,’’ said Mr Nickel.
“The presence of leading Canadian corporations such as Bombardier in India demonstrates Canada’s global leadership and expertise in the manufacture of high quality, innovative products. Bombardier's presence in India is also playing an important role in strengthening our bilateral relationship with India.’’
