Cabinet to receive civil aviation policy in January: Secretary

The Ministry of Civil Aviation is on track to send the civil aviation policy to the Cabinet in the third week of January, according to RN Choubey, Secretary, Civil Aviation.

This is despite several domestic airlines yet to give their final view on the 5/20 rule.

Meanwhile, the Singapore Government has nominated Changi airport to take up operation and management of Jaipur and Ahmedabad airports. RK Srivastava, Chairman, Airport Authority of India, said the Changi team is expected to visit the two Indian airports in January.
