Union Finance Minister P. Chidambaram today met top bankers and about 21 industry chiefs in Bangalore to discussed ways and means to speed up infrastructure projects.
The Finance Minister has been visiting various regions interacting directly with both bankers and industrialists to help clear the bottlenecks for speedy implementation of projects.
About Rs 7,00,000 crore worth of infrastructure projects are facing delays.
The Minister has expressed the Government’s keenness in speeding up the infrastructure projects and assured the stakeholders of all help from the Centre to ensure timely execution of the projects.
